Hello and welcome to the Get It Scrapped Creative Team Blog Hop!

I am beginning a new year leading the amazing group of ladies that make up the Get It Scrapped Creative Team and am excited to celebrate with them as we welcome our new members and say goodbye to others who will be sorely missed.

The following ladies will be joining us for 2013-2014 and I am excited to be working with each and every one of them.

As you hop along our creative team members are sharing layouts inspired by their favorite articles at Get It Scrapped and passing along some awesome discounts on our Masterful Scrapbook Design Issues—so don’t miss a stop!

Do You Like Using Long Titles?

While it was difficult to narrow it down to “my very favorite GIS article” I finally settled on one!  You all know how this journaling-impaired gal loves her titles and the following article gave me a few more ideas for creating impactful titles in my scrapbook pages.

Ideas for Long Titles on Scrapbook Pages

I think it can be easy to submit to the customary one, two or three-word title but I loved exploring the concept of saying more with my title.  Below is a layout that I made, inspired by the ideas in this article.

Though I've still included a fair amount of journaling on this page about my son, my photos and my "wordy" title really do convey its message well.  My oldest boy will always be "A City Boy with a Cowboy's Heart."
