Show & Tell | 04/27/13

April 27, 2013

Hi everyone! I'm back  to share a few of the layouts that I've made this week. I'm settling in nicely to my new format of scrapbooking and am officially calling myself an 8.5 x 11" girl!

I'll be attending a retreat this weekend so I hope to have plenty of pages to share with you next week...that's if I don't spend the whole time gabbing of course ;)

My Pages from Week 04/22/13

Here's a look at my creations from this past week:

This page I made to commemorate the birth of my new niece, isn't she just precious?!  It also presented the perfect opportunity to play around with things that were oh so pink and pretty!

A Girl Worth Waiting For by Amy Kingsford | Supplies: Sahlin Studio and Britt-ish Designs: Project Mouse: Princess Edition Papers and Elements; Amy Martin and Jimbo Jambo Designs: Spring Carnival Templates; Agnes Biro: Paint Accents 5; Creashens: Hello.

This page I made for my son who is just so unique and special and I want him to know how much I love that about him.  He's getting to that age where he wants to be just like everyone else but I want him to know that its okay to be different!

It's Okay to be Different by Amy Kingsford | Supplies: Anna Aspnes: ArtPlay Palette City Limits, ArtPlay Palette No. 6, Abstract FotoBlendz No. 5, Finger Prints, ArtPlay Infatuated Chevrons, Urban Stitchez No. 3.

This page is about my two boys, their differences and their similarities.  They are both so special in their own little ways, but it is also very fun to see them come together and delight in some of the same things, despite their differences.

Sometimes by Amy Kingsford | Supplies: Mye de Leon: New England Cottage; Crystal Livesay: Peppermint Twist Templates; Robyn Meierotto: In Stitches: Neutral Basics; Creashens: Simply White Alpha.

This page was inspired by this great quote that was included in the ArtPlay Palette I was working with, about giving your children both roots and wings.  The sentiment and the colors of the palette made me think of of these photos I took of my son 4.5 years ago when I first started learning about photography.  They are some of my favorites still today.

Roots & Wings by Amy Kingsford | Supplies: Anna Aspnes Designs: Roots ArtPlay Palette, Vellum Alpha Set; Sahlin Studio: In the City Alpha.

This page shares a funny story about my oldest son that I wanted to make sure I got recorded.  I thought it would be just one of those funny things he said once...but nope he sticking to his guns--he wants two birds and he's going to catch another one so that his parakeet Rio will have a friend!

Two Birds by Amy Kingsford | Supplies: Jenni Bowlin Studio Digitals: Birds & Branches Brush Set, Play Date Collection; Feathers Stencil Cut, Printed Tickets - Expressions, Souvenir Embellishment Kit; Creashens: Bare Necessities Papers, D'Ink Borders, Afternoon Delight; Dawn by Design: Almost Done Template Vol. 4.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend!
